Position Summary
The Plant HR Manager will manage the complete human resources function for this location and will provide support and general expertise in all areas of human resources. This individual report to a Regional HR Manager but has a dotted line reporting responsibility to the Plant Manager. This role supervises the HR team and is the key plant resource responsible for helping the plant team recruit, retain, develop, and keep full engagement of all people.
Requirements for the Plant HR Manager include:
  • 5-7+ Years Human Resource Generalist experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Professional in Human Resource (PHR) or (SPHR) strongly preferred 
  • Previous manufacturing/in-plant experience required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Prefer PLC and HMI software experience
Job Duties for the Plant HR Manager include:
  • Working as a strategic business partner with the plant leadership, evaluate the state of human resources in the plant, identify opportunities for improvement and develop & execute a strategic vision for the HR function in the plant focused on supporting the achievement of both functional and plant key performance objectives
  • Develops and aligns initiatives to the business strategy which includes the ability to identify, analyze, and articulate business goals and objectives at the company
  • Analyze, monitor and improve diversity administration education, training, staffing, communication, & development, and diversity culture building
  • Leads development, implementation, and audits of all HR policies and procedures
  • Manage consistent execution of compensation programs including merit, bonus, and promotional counseling
